The first few days with your new bundle of joy is a once in a lifetime experience and so special with your partner!

It can easily be a blur while you are wrapped up in the newborn bubble so it's always best to book in your

newborn session before bubs is born! 

  Your due date will be added tenteviley in the calendar but do not stress if your baby comes early or later than expected, I always allow enough time in the diary when booking newborn sessions in. 

 

WHEN TO BOOK IN A NEWBORN SESSION? 

Newborn sessions are best done when the baby is between 5 -14 days old. During this time, the baby is still very sleepy and can easily be posed in various positions to capture those adorable and artistic shots.

Newborns are still in their womb-like state during this age range and can still curl up into those cute poses that are often seen in newborn photography. After two weeks, babies become more alert and begin to stretch out, making it more challenging to pose them in certain positions. However, it's important to note that every baby is different, and the ideal age for newborn photography may vary depending on the baby's individual temperament and development.
